Justin Ott – Men's Swim and Dive
Freshman diver Justin Ott (Britton, Mich.) won both diving events over Northern Michigan on Nov. 5, registering a total of 276.30 in the One Meter event and 288.05 in the Three Meter dive. He previously took the top spots in the 1 and 3 meter diving events on Oct. 28 in the win over Findlay.
The Swim and Dive teams will head to Valparaiso on Saturday, Nov. 11, beginning at 1 p.m.
Abby Divozzo – Women's Soccer
Sophomore goalkeeper for the Cardinals Abby Divozzo (Cadillac, Mich.// Cadillac HS) had an outstanding week inside target, posting 18 saves overall in the three GLIAC tournament matchups.
During Tuesday's quarterfinal win over Ferris State, Divozzo posted her career high of 13 saves. Also, she stopped two penalty kicks from entering the backside of the net during the 3-1 pk victory over Ashland in the GLIAC semifinals. In the Championships against Grand Valley State, Divozzo posted two saves.
The Lady Cards have wrapped up their season with the loss to Grand Valley on Sunday in the GLIAC Tournament finals. The team finished with a 10-7-2 overall record and a 4-4-1 in confernce play.
